Welcome to Gyedi, the Trust Project.

Gyedi (pronounced 'jee-di') Project, is a grassroots community organization dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Black communities in Colorado. Gyedi is an Akan word which means trust or believe.

We believe

in the transformative power of trust, self-belief, and community solidarity (ubuntu). We stand firmly behind the idea that communities- when supported with culturally responsive education, outreach, and resources- can reclaim control of their health and thrive.

Our vision is to equip historically underserved communities to take complete control of their health and realize their full health and life potential.
